Kindergarten Piano classes for children ages 4-5 years old build upon everything they've learned so far in life and music, and give them the tools they need to bridge the gap to private lessons.

They're a natural next step after Toddler & Preschool Music Classes at WSM, but are not a pre-requisite.

Little ones are curious by nature, ready to learn about the world through music that already lives in them!

Fill out the inquiry form so that we can set you up with a class to join!

Here is what parents have to say about ECM classes at WSM:

The classes are fun for my toddler and are helping him learn to move to music. These are not the same classes as the ones at the library, there's more to learn about and experience. It's not just musical story time in your classes.

Toddler parent

My daughter loves classes with Ms. Liz. Over the last 6 months of classes, I have seen her grow from not being able to do anything, to getting visibly excited when Ms. Liz pulls out her ukulele, or when the eggies come out and we sing with them. Although she is only 7mos., my daughter can shake eggies and bang on the drum rhythmically! Watching Ms. Liz and my daughter interact musically has been a delight.

We acknowledge that the land on which we live and work is the ancestral lands of various Indigenous Peoples and that we live on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, Chippewa and Wendat, in the territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. The territory was the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Anishinaabe and the Haudenosaunee to peaceably share and care for the territory around the Great Lakes, all newcomers are invited into this Covenant. This territory is also covered by the Upper Canada Treaties. Today, the meeting place of Toronto (Haudenosaunee 'Tkaronto') is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and live in this territory.
