A Toronto-based freelance musician, Anna enjoys a multi-faceted career as a performer and teacher. Most recently, she spent a year as Principal Oboe with the Victoria Symphony, where she also taught oboe and chamber music at the University of Victoria. She holds a graduate oboe performance degree from the Glenn Gould School in Toronto, and a Bachelor of Music in oboe performance from the University of Victoria. She has also completed an associate diploma in Piano Pedagogy and Grade 10 Piano Performance with Conservatory Canada.

As a teacher, Anna is dedicated to tailoring her approach to meet each student's unique needs and goals. Her focus is on cultivating a positive environment, where students feel comfortable to be curious and creative. While she is primarily classically trained, she is comfortable teaching a variety of styles. Anna would be happy to teach students who want to prepare for conservatory exams and university auditions, as well as students who simply want to play music for the joy of it. She looks forward to working with you!
