Hello! My name is Mykola Pyskir, and I am a passionate educator and multi instrumentalist with 10 years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from The University of Toronto as a pianist under the tutelage of Dr. Asher Armstrong.
My teaching philosophy is centered on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment that inspires students to develop their musical abilities and explore their creativity. I believe that every student has unique strengths and learning styles, and I strive to tailor my teaching approach to meet the individual needs of each student.
I have experience teaching a variety of instruments, including Piano, Violin, Bandura and Accordion. I have also taught music theory and arranging. In addition to traditional teaching methods, I also incorporate technology and multimedia resources into my lessons to provide a dynamic and engaging learning experience.
As a musician, I have performed and directed various music groups, and have also put on and have participated in many successful concerts. I believe that my experience as a performer and artist enriches my teaching and allows me to offer valuable insights to my students.
In my spare time, I enjoy attending concerts and music festivals, as well as practicing and exploring new genres of music. I am committed to lifelong learning and regularly attend workshops and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques in music education.
I am excited to work with you and help you achieve your musical goals!
