Matthew is a passionate teacher and singer based in Toronto, Canada. He completed a Bachelor of Early Music Vocal Performance from McGill University, and is currently working on his graduate degree in Historical Performance at the University of Toronto. Matthew has had the pleasure of working with vocal teachers and coaches such as Daniel Taylor, Dominique Labelle, Suzie LeBlanc and Robin Blaze. He is active in the professional choral scene and loves to perform his favourite vocal works with the Toronto Oratory Choir, L’Harmonie des saisons, and the Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart. This past fall, he was thrilled to perform in masterclasses and workshops with early music specialists Philippe Jaroussky and Emma Kirkby. When he’s not singing, Matthew loves to run, bike, and fold origami birds.
