Marie Anton is violinist and music educator from Toronto. She graduated from York University with a BA in Music and Psychology. Born in Egypt and raised in Dubai, Marie came to Toronto to pursue her higher education, where she studied violin under the tutelage of the late Jacques Israelievitch, Mark Skazinetsky, Martin Bazarian, and Steve Koh. She has participated in the Tafelmusik Summer Baroque Institute as well as the Northwestern Summer Violin Institute in Chicago.

Marie is passionate chamber and orchestral musician, she served as concertmaster of the York University Symphony Orchestra from 2018-2019 and has been part of the Ontario pops and York chamber ensemble orchestras.

Marie has also been a music educator around the GTA for a number of years and is highly driven inspire and help students achieve their best.
